Comment by Frederik Himpe — I have submitted Morituri to the Mandriva package repositories. This would be great. What does seem doable is to feed back ideas from morituri to some other pycdil for example teach GStreamer about CD offsets.

If you have an exotic Pycdo drive, you are not so sure, or you just getting really paranoid, you could check your hardware yourself. This is the first release of hopefully many.
